Poker league point system
Running a season with your crew? Pick how points are given and see what every finishing place is worth. Simple enough to do at the table, fair enough that nobody argues.
| Place | Points |

The three systems
- Top 5: 10-7-5-3-1. The classic. Easy to remember, and only the top five score. Best when the same people show up every time.
- Everyone scores. Last place gets 1, each place above gets one more. With 8 players the winner gets 8. Nobody walks away with zero.
- Bigger nights count more. Points grow with the number of players, so beating 10 people is worth more than beating 4. Fair when attendance changes a lot.
Running the season
- Decide the system before the first night and don't change it mid-season.
- Eight to twelve nights is a good season length.
- Ties on points: whoever has more wins, then more top-three finishes.
- A final table for the top players makes the last night worth showing up for.
Let the app keep the table
